Template:Firefox TOC Peekko Chat is an extension for Mozilla Firefox. It turns every web-site into a potential chat-room.
Peekko acts like an IRC client situated in a sub-window in the browser. It makes a connection to an IRC server searching for a channel named as the website you are visiting in your browser. That enables you to meet and exchange with likeminded people interested in the topic of a website.
You also can log in the Peekko chat using an ordinary irc-client by going to this address: irc.peekko.com port 8080.
Additionally, there is the possibility to integrate a Peekko-window in a web-site that shows the current chat going on in Peekko in the webbroser itself. This happens real-time and readable for all. For example you can integrate this window in the side-bar of a wiki by using <chat>.
